User Data Deletion
What data we hold
Champion Bangla is a Facebook-centered quiz platform. Participation happens through comments on our official Facebook Page, so we store only what is needed to score entries and publish results:
- Your Page-scoped Facebook ID (a numeric identifier Meta provides per Page)
- Your display name as shown on your comment
- The comment ID and the answers you submitted
- Your computed score, ranking, and winner status
We do not store your Facebook password, email, friend list, or any other Facebook account data. Your comment itself remains on Facebook and is governed by Meta's own deletion controls.
How to request deletion
Option 1 — Email us (recommended)
Send a request to [email protected] with the subject line "Data deletion request" and include:
- The Facebook profile name you used when commenting, and
- If possible, a link to your comment or the quiz session it was on
Option 2 — Delete your comment on Facebook
You may also delete your own comment directly on the Facebook post. This removes your answer from the public thread; we will remove the matching stored record during our next data reconciliation or on request.
What happens after your request
- We acknowledge your request within 7 days.
- We delete your participant record, submissions, and scores within 30 days of verification.
- Exceptions: if you were a published winner, your name may remain in already-published result announcements and winner posts (which note they were published before your request), and records may be retained where required by law or to resolve disputes.
- Deleting your data does not affect comments you leave on Facebook itself — those are controlled by Meta's tools.
Data deletion for Page-scoped identifiers
Because Meta gives us a Page-scoped ID rather than your global Facebook identity, if you use multiple Facebook profiles please tell us which one(s) your comments were made from so we can locate and delete the correct records.
